Stamped concrete is a beautiful way to show your neighbors how much you love your home and increase the equity immensely. It is a 4 phase process.
You must get the concrete on the ground, put the color hardener in the concrete and bull float it in the concrete.
Once the concrete is hard enough to walk on, my crew and I will start laying out the pattern and using a rubber tamper to press the stamp pattern into the concrete.
The concrete is given a day to cure than I come back and pressure wash the stamp work done the day before. Than once all concrete is washed, the concrete needs 24-48 hours to dry.
The final step is to apply a 25/40 cure and seal; a polyurethane clear concrete sealer. This helps maintain the color in the concrete and protect the slab or driveway.
